Ping times though really aren't that relevant with web hosting unless they are really high. The overall throughput of their connection and it's route is far more important.
Am in Amsterdam and this is the ping I get from the private wireless network at home.

64 bytes from cpanel55.gzo.com (75.126.55.108): icmp_seq=2 ttl=46 time=172 ms
64 bytes from cpanel55.gzo.com (75.126.55.108): icmp_seq=3 ttl=46 time=173 ms
64 bytes from cpanel55.gzo.com (75.126.55.108): icmp_seq=4 ttl=46 time=173 ms
64 bytes from cpanel55.gzo.com (75.126.55.108): icmp_seq=5 ttl=46 time=173 ms
A wired connection from office will only make it better..
Thank you Mystic that is great information, I assume you are pleased with the overal performance from Amsterdam to you accounts on Cpanel 55 and your clients are happy as well.
My concern was more just traffic normal traffic slow downs coming across the pond, we know the service from a Dathorn point of view rocks....
Ive had my sites hosted here for over 3 years with no problems at all. In fact Id say the server response time was better than some of the uk based hosts ive used
