Postini can filter in front of any mail server. However, we only offer Postini for email hosted on our servers. Though I know some have their Exchange servers configured to download their email from our server, in which case this wouldn't be an issue.
What I was wondering was if Postini can work with Exchange only.
I'm not sure how it works but something like Postini filters the emails then Exchange get it then outlook can get if from Exchange.
This is not a question for my reseller account but a project for a non profit organization that I volunteer to, they are looking for a cheap SPAM filter for few of their emails.
Postini will work with any mail server. The MX records for the domain are pointed to Postini so that Postini can filter the email and then Postini passes it on to whatever mail server you specify.
