    PHP download/redirector script?

Anyone know of a good one to use? Even thinkin about looking for one that makes you actually match the letters/numbers to be able to download. A site I run with another guy has been getting hammered so hard due to people direct linking files.

66.171.30.62 connected to the file 1,464 times between 11:00pm - 11:59 pm on 4/25 multiply that number out for each hour for the entire day and you figure this guy must have it in for us. Its a verizon ip address. The file size is around 35 megs. Thankfully the server is on FDC, but its this kind of crap, that keeps bringing the server to its knees. If we can implement some sort of php-redirector script, or matching the letters/numbers to elminate this direct linking/obvious server scripting re-download baloney.

If anyone has any ideas or knows of any, please reply back or pm me.

    Thanks,

    Chris
