Whats y'alls favorite Editor?
Mine is Crimson Text; it has, if I remember correctly,
error highlighting & what not, but I simply use it
because on my XP comp, it seems NotePad has died

I can't believe people are still using Windows NotePad! Even for quick editing there are better solutions. MetaPad is one: http://liquidninja.com/metapad/
I use 1stPage2000 (not Frontpage!), a free but unsupported editor. Has some features that just don't work (like the included FTP program), but others which work great ... syntax highlighting, internal "preview" mode, storage for code snippets and templates, etc. I haven't found a freebie editor yet that matched it, although I've only tried a few (HTMLBeauty, while good, doesn't have an internal preview mode).
The old one is great and easy and free with internal viewer and too many options to use. The new one runs on Java and I don't have the speed to download 100mb of Java.
I just use NotesPad which is a beefed up version of Notepad. It has a spellchecker and some other nifty little features. I"m not a hardcore programmer so I don't need anything more than NotesPad.
