    FAQ Systems?

I like Kayako's helpdesk, but it cost too much. I'm going to use a combination of a forum and a FAQ system. Instead of creating a generic website with a whole bunch of FAQs, I was wondering if there's a FAQ system thats free to use. I'll check out sf.net but I wanted to get recommendations from ppl.

I have seen many of them. Many were good, but havent found one that I wanted to use.

I searched WHT and Hotscripts.com and want through lots. I suggest there if you havent done so yet.

    Good luck

I simply do similiar to dathorn, and have a 'FAQ' forum
where I placed alot of generic FAQ topics with the answers inside
"How can someone be so distracted yet so focused?"

I've done what dathorn has done, but it does get tedious. I'm probably going to use both and have a custom one built thats embedded into the main site.

Ive searched WHT and hotscripts.com but the good ones you have to pay for.

A custom one shouldnt be too bad.

I could definitely do a custom one really cheap for you. I made one already to go with my CMS.

Thanks for the offer, but I can do it myself. A little busy to put somehting together because I'm working on a control panel similar to the one dathorn uses.

Ah, an FAQ is easy though, took maybe 30min to make (at the very most :-D)

phpCoin has a usable FAQ system, along with a trouble ticket system. Its at http://www.phpcoin.com ... open source (GPL) and free.

I've always liked this FAQ script: http://www.smarterscripts.com/smartfaq/
