I like Kayako's helpdesk, but it cost too much. I'm going to use a combination of a forum and a FAQ system. Instead of creating a generic website with a whole bunch of FAQs, I was wondering if there's a FAQ system thats free to use. I'll check out sf.net but I wanted to get recommendations from ppl.

I've done what dathorn has done, but it does get tedious. I'm probably going to use both and have a custom one built thats embedded into the main site.
Ive searched WHT and hotscripts.com but the good ones you have to pay for.
A custom one shouldnt be too bad.Comment

Thanks for the offer, but I can do it myself. A little busy to put somehting together because I'm working on a control panel similar to the one dathorn uses.Originally posted by -Oz-I could definitely do a custom one really cheap for you. I made one already to go with my CMS.Comment

phpCoin has a usable FAQ system, along with a trouble ticket system. Its at http://www.phpcoin.com ... open source (GPL) and free.Comment
