My home connection is only a 3.2 mbit connection, I was transferring data from a new dedicated server @ theplanet (100mbit uplink) to my shared hosting here @ dathorn (cpanel08) for a quick speed test. I should actually try sending it to RackMy for a better speed test overall.

I wish I could have a nice 100mbit link at home.

CNET one: 2310.3 kbps (2.3MBs yes?)
          BandwidthPlace one: 2.7 MBs
ActionComputers one: Average: 3040 KB loaded in 8.9 secs at 2735 kbit/sec

So I'd say bout 2.5 MB/sec would be best guess??
Hmm; I'm on a four-port CABLE router (BELKIN) ~ does
that may any sort of difference??

A lot of the servers we have capped at 10Mbps as there has been no reason for them needing any more than that but cpanel08 is one that is uncapped obviously.
