can i get help with this?

i'm trying to access sites for a project at school and i'm being blocked by a sonic fire wall. The school runs windows 2000 server and the machine that i'm on uses a windows 2000 platform. All privilages have beem removed from the machine that i am on (e.g right clicking, accessing the control panel, ect.). How can i access these sites??

I doubt that you will be able to. Probably why the admins locked it down.
    I suggest talking to them.

Could try to find a web based cgi proxy to try to poke thru the firewalls. Which could also be blocked.

          Something like this site

Though I wouldnt do any email, or anything that you use a user id/passwd for. As it could be either compromised or logged. I usually use these type things for my online games (more clicks) or to check to see if sites are down from other locations. (I have a list of about 15 of these sites (which works well for a couple online games for extra clicks per day without spamming - when I get time))
Hosting at Dathorn since March 2003!

Welcome to network administration. If someone has deemed your system administrators to block certain sites, there's not a whole lot you can do about it. Cozy up with your SA, buy them a beer, and beg for access if you really need it. Or, use a different ISP...go to a cyber cafe...
