I need to setup a news website for a customer and after looking at many CMS's, I found EzPublish most closely meet my need. However, I also found many complaints about EzPublish, mostly about it's performace and scalability. It required at least 12MB of PHP memory (by the way what is the current PHP memory at Dathorn, 8MB?), and some people claim that it generate hundreds of MySQL queries to display a single page, also the lack of support etc...
Does any of you have any experience with this guy? Are those complaints true? I especially concern about scalability as the website may get up to hundreds of thousands page views a day.
Also if you have any suggestion for any other CMS's it would be great. I am looking for an open source/low cost one (<100$), it must be news publishing specific with good functionality and performance. Something like http://www.newsphp.com but this one is way too expensive for me.
