how do you relax after a long day of work?

Okay got VBS (Vaction Bible School [not VBScripting lol]) all this week...
I decided, as have last few years, to forget the teen class and just help
mom and the other ladies with the crafts....

Always nervous, hate actual social inteaction (side-effect of computer-dependecy?).
So, as I said, try to avoid the teens...

Anyways, besides fact I was up til like 4AM trying
to configure 2KPro to good settings, so I could use it (even if just for a week),
and that I'm doing alot (no break during the good 3-4hr long night), I'm ticked.

Our Sunday School Director / Teen Sunday School Teacher / Youth Group Teacher,
has extremely pissed me off...he's such a good guy, but this is unacceptable!
The theme this year is Japan, but he and his wife did most of it more chinese!!

Not only that, the part that pisses me is he's walking around in a costome,
called 'Mr. Charlie' with a rice hat. Come on, clearly ment to be some sort
of thing against Vietmanese, or maybe [I'm] just overly tired and imagining stuff.

I even built up some courage and tried to talk to Christina...
Last night she'd asked me why wasn't I in the main building
during the beginning part...so got thinking...

Well she totally blew me off...I wasn't even hitting,
just wanted 2talk y'kno? Been awhile since I truly
talked, like real face-to-face, with a kid my own age...

So....what should I do to relax?
Nice hot/warm bath...long shower? a book? music? etc

Personally I always enjoyed going down the gun range and shotting off a couple boxes of ammo. Take that hat with ya. Won't need to buy a target.

Mom's....not "Freaked" but umm...well no guns in the house
Plus I doubt my little c02 powered pistol would count

Maybe paintballing...I love to go PBing,
      but since moved last yr-- not a chance;
2small of yard + closest field is good 30miles away

Try to find something you enjoy that is "opposite" of what you do normally ... so if you are in front of a computer all day, try having a hobby as far away from that as possible, like woodworking (hand tools only), biking, or sailing with the local parks and recreation department. YOU would probably love sailing.

As to women, when you figure them out, let me know. My secret to my long marraige (30 years this September) is simple: I admitted a long time ago I will never figure women out. Couldn't get a date to save my life until I was 16, dated three girls, and married the third girl when I turned 19 (she was 18). I decided to marry her because she agreed to go out with me more than once. I'd try to take credit for the long marriage, but darned if I know why my marriage works and other marriages don't. The whole relationship thing escapes me. So the only advice I would give is that if a girl goes out more than once, she's a keeper ... and that is probably bad advice!

            Jonathan,

            Try relaxing.

I suggest you adopt the following hobbies:
Make it a point to me less critical of others. You will find it a real stimulating mental exercise to see the best in other people instead of the worst – that any fool can do.

Be socially active. If you find it difficult – try it as an intellectual challenge - find out what pleases other people and make them happy. Keep score of your success and failure.

If all else fails, try sleep – it is the most relaxing pastime of all.
As for the ladies, forget about relaxing.

In my humble experience, never think that a real woman is relaxing – that is what makes them fascinating and mysterious.

Women that relax you either have an ulterior motive or do it as a job.

A woman worth your time must put you on edge, increase the flow of adrenaline by a few hundred percent, cause - blurred vision, nail-biting and sleepless nights.

Shalom_m you should write a book... before the women find out you know too much!

I can testify to the nail-biting, sleepless nights, and blurred vision!
And yes, that funky feeling we call adrenelen (can't spell)

                but no I don't want to date her;
I just wanna be friends y'kno?

                  Hey Johnathon,
Keep in contact with your peers.
Just go to Vacation Bible School classes just like everyone else you age and just cool it....blend in....
You don't realize it but you're just normal.
                  Foget all your computer learning...
You may think that that puts you above everyone else...but every kid there has their own accomplishments...music, sports, poetry, hunting, fishing...and they are at least your equal in all respects. Their stengths is just in anoter area.
Be Cool and enjoy your peers and talk with them and the gals about what it is that they are interested in....
When you have blended in, the Gals will come...and the right gal will be there when you have mellowed enough to receive them.

I think I'll not help and attach to the youth class
when they float through crafts....(their first group).

As for me thinking I'm above the overs; I don't do that..
I just think it sort of makes me the odd ball out of the group
