I had to pile ALL my books on a little "end table"
sort of deal thingy @foot of my bed, and haul it
off to my lil sis's room...must've weighted 20lbs+ easy.

Probably all my 'Clancy books
I dunno my brand new, never opened,
XHTML, PHP, and Flash MX books are kinda hefty

We (Tampa Bay area) really got lucky, I think it has rained twice this afternoon and it is just a little windy outside right now.

After seeing what Andrew did, it makes me realize all the much more just how lucky we got today.

I total agree ThomasW. Charley would've wiped out Gulfport and it's residents if it hit here. I'm feeling lucky just to be alive let alone to still have a roof over my head! Some were not so lucky though.

My in-laws live in Clearwater, they are on somewhat high ground, but the wind damage could have been major.
Looking at TBO.com they have a picture right now of a U-haul truck that was picked up and dropped into the middle of Beachcomber Liquors in Port Charlotte (which incidently a friend of mine used to work there, employee discount or something??). Guess it doesn't matter how well your house is built, if a truck gets dropped on it, it will be destroyed!

Anywhose, up until bout 4:43 A.M. Sunday Morning,
had no power...man, running around town to Wal-Mart
and the like, all filthy and smelly lookin 4ice...not fun

'Specally since it seemed alot of people had power
Anyways, few more MPH and it'd seem our Pump House (we got Well-Water)
would probably blow away.

On another note, since I screwed up my comp while
installing some RAM and Video (against Oz's advice...should've listened 2him lol),
I haven't been very active; I should have @least a status report
on it by next sunday, a lady @church is checking it out and she's good w/ comps...
