We have some people staying with us right now (my cousin smartly decided to ride the storm out at a freinds house in Vero Beach, DOH). I don't mind but I am not the most social person in the world so the sooner this is over the better.

Anyone remember back in 1985 and the trouble Elena caused? We got evacuated and went over to a freinds house in Lakeland to stay, my gosh that was one of the most boring 3 days of my life, until now.

The slowness of this huricane is torture. Another thing driving me nuts is all the news coverage. I truely don't care to see some idoit standing in the storm in the middle of the night discribing what going on in the dark! RADAR! Just leave the smagin RADAR up!

On the local Spanish Channel they had a feed of a reporter down in Palm Beach yesterday, anyway he was right on the water (not very smart) and he was talking and a wave came up and kncoked him down and started dragging him into the water, the look on his face was priceless. Maybe next time he will respect Mother Nature a little more...

Had no power for a couple of hours so I just went to bed. Just got and darn thing is just about on top of me. The leading wall anyway. Hardly even getting any rain!? Wierd storm.
