I saw that in the WHT irc channel on thrus, I regged 12 domains (all possibles for either my own sites, or local bands whom I have an interest in. This will be just like when I got the free .com domains about 3-4 years ago (in exchange for spam) that were good for one year, then got you the next year for $14 per domain if you wanted to renew. Actually if you got the .info for 2 years, it was only $7.77 total it looks like, not too shabby.
Its a good idea to grab one for your host so you can do yourhost.info as a support site, or a backup one even (host it off site, or such)
