    How about my site?

    Ray Web Designs.com

I have it set up as a flash site and a simple .gif image site (html only).

Im learning flash in school, and this was actually my final project, decided to make it my design site.

Ive made some others you will find in my portfollio but what about this one itself?

The splash itself, some may have problems reading the words.
(Especially some of the older business owners, I imagine).

    -- Flash version --
Again, the top has some issues with the font
and how its presented; I'd think a single color
and no glow around it would be best (JMHO).

Home page, well.. as my uncle used to constently
tell me (and sitll does!)-- "it just doesn't tell me what the hell your site does".

Sure, it does-- but not well enough IMO.
Need something to really grab the user by their shirt,
and tell them! Make them interested in exploring the site further.

The about page is nice and simple, but I don't like
the pricing thrown in there. Its what you do, don't
list anymore than the services (like the details, price, etc.).

The portfolio is decent; good presentation.
I admit, your trying to sell hosting and design services,
so I can't really see why your offering How TOs.

The rest was okay, but really didn't spark my interest.
Needs slightly cleaner layout and easier to use navigation.

Also I'd loose the payment link; send them a PayPal link,
or a link to a payment form, upon a agreed idea (via contract, email, etc.)

The HTML site I didn't like; plus it shouldn't pop up...
Another thing is, your site won't be indexed being all flash.

I'd add some HTML links to the buttom of the flash site.
Also warn users that the site WILL popup! This lets them know what to expect.
