I have been running Embperl in CGI mode and is reading about improving performance by running it under mod_perl.
I noticed that cpanel lists mod_perl as an installed perl module. But I thought you have to write a bunch of Apache directives in httpd.conf file to get it to work.
My question is, if you are using mod_perl to run your Perl script, what do you have to do? Do you have to add special lines in .htaccess? Do you need to put your script in a specially named folder? Or with special extensions?
Thanks.
