You asked for opinions, and you got mine. I'm sorry it wasn't what you wanted.
You know, I feel you're being a bit hypocritical. I remember when you thought a certain registrar did you wrong, you went on your own little crusade. I'm willing to bet not everyone felt as you did, and may have thought your actions less than mature.

I had thought this thread had run its course. Perhaps Andrew could close it so we may all move on.

Actually, since ICANN changed the registration rules to prevent the kind of actions the registrar took, it was more than a "thought" that they did me wrong. And no one supported hijacking of domain names ... at least, I had no one disagree with me. Do you really think the same will happen here?

But that aside, where's the hypocrisy? I didn't go onto that registrar's site and mount a crusade, and then complain about censorship when a thread was closed. Instead, I put my money where my mouth is and set up a separate site, advertised it, and frequented other forums devoted to domain name issues where my comments were welcomed.

        I agree.

The thread has been moved way out of context of the original post.

          What ever you say, Frank.

I asked for opinions that meant something to do with the content of the thread, not what you feel personally about the thread creator, actions, content or any other label you care to hide behind.

NOTE: I withdraw from this thread so no further comments please.

          Regards
