What happens if you outgrow your account?

I realize you could upgrade to a newer plan, but then eventually you would want to obtain a dedicated server. So, if it came to that point, I figure the process of moving everything from dathorn's server to a dedicated server would be a pain in the a$$?

You could get a dedicated server with cpanel, that would make it a little easier.

But generally speaking, yes, it would be a pain in the ass.

if you couldnt handle the move, there are a ton of cPanel/Linux admins for hire out there.

A client of mine spends several hundred dollars a month on a server and an expert admin to secure it and keep it updated.

unfortunately costs go up when you reach the need for a dedicated, but it is a fun learning experience.

yea tell me about it, we have two freebsd boxes at work that i need to migrate over to new servers. 300+ users on one of them which runs our mail, so it will be interesting.

well, if it got to the point where i would need to get a dedicated box for my hosting business (I HOPE I HOPE), then I'll probably just buy multiple accounts from dathorn
