) and watching it all week; my take: The computer models do not seem to be able to predict past 72 hours at the outside and when the hurricances get near land weird things happen. I don't look at the five day forcasts. The three day has it just below Cuba's West end. Check back then. But, start getting ready NOW.
They've evacuated the Keys and a shipper who just picked up a load of our stuff going North said the only things going into the Keys are generators and plywood. A big one hit there in 1935. Pressure dropped BELOW 900mb; it's the most powerful to have hit the US coast on record. There was a movie with Bogart, Lauren Bacall and EG Robinson. Probably too old for most of you. Who can name that movie. Hang in there you all.
