IP Addresses / A Records

Hi,

I have a client who uses another webhost.
I have developed a site for him that lives on my Dathorn account on cpanel23b (IP: 69.56.171.60).
He wants to keep with his present host for email but have all the web traffic directed to the Dathorn server.

Here are my questions:
1. Am I right in thinking that I'll need to ask his present host to change his A Record to 69.56.171.60?

2. Will cpanel23b's IP address always be 69.56.171.60?

The A record will need to be set to whatever IP address is listed in WHM for that particular domain account. It may change one day, but won't any time soon.
