Custom name servers with multiple registrars?

We use namescout for .com.au domains and godaddy for .com domains.

We have made the needed entries at namescout for our custom nameservers (they are ns1.domain.com.au etc) and that works fine for all of our namescout domains but for the domains with godaddy the custom ns1.domain.com.au nameserver does not work.

When going through the steps at godaddy it only allows you to make an entry for a domain you have hosted with them thus our domain.com.au custom nameservers will not work for any of our domains registerd at godaddy.

Luckily we have a .com version of our domain so I have created an entry at godaddy using that and will use the ns1.domain.com custom nameservers but it would be neater if I could use the same ns1.domain.com.au custom nameservers for every domain.

Is this possible? I cant see a way to do it at godaddy.

that's unusual. Are you trying to setup nanmeservers under godaddy instead of use different nameservers for a domain?

Trying to use the same custom nameservers for domains registered at different registrars.

You tried contacting GoDaddy about the problem?
