    Add-on Domain Problem

Here's the backstory: I have a website, gayqueensland.net, hosted on my dathorn server. I have also now registered gayqld.net and added it as an add-on domain which redirects to the first domain name. If you just type "gayqld.net" into the browser it redirects perfectly to "www.gayqueensland.net" however if you type in "www.gayqld.net" the domain doesn't resolve and the browser reports it couldn't find the page.

Why is this? If without the www works, shouldn't with it work too? I thought that was an automatic assumption to be made. Or is there something else I should be doing to get the www to work too?

[Edit] Could it be that I'm in Australia, using an Australian registrar, but the www request must go to an overseas server? Seems odd, but the best I can come up with right now ... let's wait and see what happens tomorrow.

    Both work for me.

How long ago did you set this all up?

If it was less than 24 hours ago, the DNS changes are probably still propagating.
