Custom DNS

Howdy guys; I followed Oz's tutorial on
setting up a custom DNS (first time I've done so);

However, it's been *roughly* 24hrs or so, the domain
works yet I cannot access a sub-domain I created?
forums.domain.com ; but the folder was made,
and I can still access it like domain.com/forums

Do I need to edit DNS files or something in WHM? etc.
I've never, before, had a reason to make
custom nameservers, so this is very new to me

Or is it, some how, the domain isn't fully propgated?
I'd assume it was, seeing that the domain.com works...

I'm not sure why, but sometimes my subdomains don't show up right away. Usually by 24 hours they are there, and I've always assumed the "local" name server is updated once a day or something.

You might try to see if your domain is visible from New York and London by using SiteUptime's free tests at http://www.siteuptime.com. Its possible that your domain name hasn't resolved completely.

Hmm; weird
I think a cPanel glitch or something;
I'm going to make another sub domain,
and see if it works...if not, contact Andrew
and see if its *somehow* server side...

Turned out I didn't need to enter the
IP I'd requested as the nameservers' IPs...

I had to enter the good ol' ones
I received in the welcome email; now
I feel even more retarded; plus fact
I had the site starting with a captial letter,
which some how caused an DNS error
