Custom nameservers

Hi all,

I just started an account here and am still learning the ropes, so please go easy on me

I want to use the custom nameservers for my domains. I use gandi.net as my registrar. Say my domain is abc.com. I logged into gandi, added ns1.abc.com and ns2.abc.com as my nameservers. That went off without a problem. But when I try 'dig abc.com' the reply I get back is

abc.com. 85562 IN NS dns#.gzo.com.

abc.com. 2774 IN A ip.of.dns#.gzo
abc.com. 2774 IN A ip.of.dns*.gzo

My question is this - why does the reply say the NS is dns#.gzo.com and dns*.gzo.com and not ns1.abc.com and ns2.abc.com ?

It shows the gzo.com nameservers because those are the ones that are set as the SOA on our servers.

Thanks for the reply. So there is no way I can get ns1.abc.com and ns2.abc.com to be listed as NS in the reply?

Submit a trouble ticket noting this issue and the domain in question.
