    Webmail

I have a client that never deletes his mails from webmail, so I dont know how, he exceeds his mail quota, like 10 mb more...

And now, he cant delete them, and get new ones

How can I fix this problem without deleting them all?

How can I prevent this for happening again?

Increase the POP3 quota and try deleting the email.
    Then restrict the size again

          Use some common sense
Tell your client to not keep emails online for so long.
Increase your clients package space. Increase your clients email quota/s.

There's lots you can do. It's all down to what's appropriate for you and your client.

I tell my client to use outlook, but she dont want to, she want to check her mails from webmail, and have it there.

I dont know why, if she has 15mb of quota in that mail account, the mails always get to 19mb.

Maybe she is not receiving the warning message.

            Increase her quota for free?

well, another client that I will lost.

There might be another option. She might want to keep the emails rather than delete them. An option she can use is to get a free Yahoo or Gmail 1GB account and forward all her email there after reading them.

That way she keeps her domain name email, but uses the storage available from Yahoo or Gmail for free.

                Rod,

I must be a bit slow here as I'm not really understanding...your client purchases space from you and then they use that space and more and then complain to you about it?

I'm getting the feeling that we're talking about an email only account here so what you do is you charge more and give more space.

If she doesn't want to do that...tough, that's how it works. She used the space that she paid for and it's her problem to deal with that not yours.

If I am wrong and they do have a domain then don't limit the email box size, just let them use up all their space for emails then when that's full it's time for a package upgrade!

But the main thing here is that you're letting people goad you and make you feel bad when, really, it is them that has used all of what you sold them and now they are trying to make you give them MORE. Everyone wants something for nothing no matter what the business is...

                Hope that helps!

                Dan

                  I know

Maybe the problem is that my client dont have the way to look how many space is left on his mail account

So she gets mad with me every week

I will not be offering webmail in the future.
