    Heavily delayed email

Has anyone been seeing heavily delayed email from Dathorn to other locations. I have been getting sporadic reports of my email taking a long time to get to it's destination. Today a friend forwarded a note I sent to him that showed the mail message being delayed approx 4 hrs from the time I sent it to cpanel35 and the time cpanel35 sent it to a server at network solutions (where he hosts his mail).

    Is something hosed somewhere?

    Thanks,
    Mike

I have also had one client complain that her emails were taking 4 hours to be delivered. Since she was the only person that seemed to be having problems I figured it was her PC that was the trouble, now I wonder...

I opened a ticket about it.

same problem... mail not going to external accounts works fine to other domains on the server.

All of these appear to be on entirely seperate servers. This is not a direct problem with the server, there has to be some remaining DNS issue with the domains involved or it is actually the receiving server that is delaying the delivery. But I cannot look into these issues unless you submit a trouble ticket with full to/from addresses as well as the e-mail including full headers that was delayed.
