Can't reinstall / uninstall FrontPage extensions

    Hello,

A customer is getting the following error when he tries to update his site using FrontPage "The server sent a response which FrontPage could not parse".

When I try to reinstall / uninstall FP extensions from the control panel I get this error

grnam: error getting gid for gid: 0

Does anyone know how to solve this?

    Thank you!

Submit a trouble ticket. Sounds something server-side that we can't touch.

I dont think dathorn will touch it. My understanding is that they will offer it but not support it.

I would create a test account and try it there and see if the same problem happens. If not, it my be an isolated issue.

Hmm; forgot about that. I'd follow Andy's advice in this case

Not really sure what the problem is, but grnam is a c function to return a user name. Find out what he has set as his user name in Frontpage (if it asks for it ... I'm not familiar with Frontpage). He may have to double it up with an underscore like we have to do with our phpMySql databases:

          "username" becomes "username_username"

Just a shot in the dark, but that may be it.

Thanks all for your help, I finally sent a TT and the admins reinstalled the extensions for that account.
