Attachments converted to winmail.dat?

I have a client whose email attachments (like an Excel file) are somehow converted to a winmail.dat file when they arrive at the recipient's email (or no attachment arrives at all). I have other domains on the server that can send email attachments fine.

She uses Outlook for her email program, and I have asked her to send a test file just using webmail to see if it's an Outlook issue. Do you have any other suggestions or solutions?
