delete mail after forwarded

I have several email accounts all set to forward to my local isp domain. Prolem is the email stays on my server hosted by dathorn. I have to login with the webmail and go through and delete the old messages.

Is there a way to have them deleted automatically after they are forwarded?

it sounds like you setup a mail account, and then a forwarder. Just delete the mail account and leave the forwarder.
