has anyone used this spam filtering software?

i'm unhappy with spam assassin (it's mildly effective) and need something that is not on the client side.

i've tried writing my own rules for spam assassin, but it just ignores them. i might look closer into this unless someone has another suggestion.

I can't say i've used it.
Looking through the documentation it says it's written in C, which would require a root install and setup.

I'm not too sure you'd be able to use it here at dathorn due to the compilers being disabled and andrew (most probably) not allowing it.

as the spam problem seems to be getting worse, can we revisit this as a possible solution? because it requires a server-side install, we need to get andrew on board. any thoughts?
