anonymous ftp

it is possible to have acces to the ftp server a domainname when you go to ftp://domain.com and then you have 2 folders, mail and pub, anonymous.
and you can place files in those maps. but how can I prevent these maps exist and how can I delete/download files posted in these maps?

In cPanel got to FTP Management and then Anonymous Setup, make sure both items there are unchecked

I wonder if there's a way of having this disabled by default?
I know all of the sites i host have no need or purpose for anonymous FTP.

yeah, i turned off the anonymous ftp but I can still access ftp://domain.com, strange

there is still a file of 98MB in that public folder, I don't know how to delete it

That is not for your domain. Anonymous FTP only goes to your own account if you have a dedicated IP for the domain.
