recently bought a few webistes that I am currently developing. Unfourtunately, I can only use ftp on one of them and not sure why. All accounts appear to have the same settigns with the namecheap and they are all on the same package within Dathorn.

If you aren't using the main login (ie if you created a 2nd login for ftp) you need to use user@domain.com for the user id. If it's just the main id, it should just be user for the user name.
