    SSH shell commands

    I am new to shell commands.
    Working from a maximized page...
    Code:

    [folder] test
    $ tar -zxvpf http://civicspacelabs.org/releases/civicspace/civicspace-0.8.2-rc6.tgz
    When typing in the command it wraps about mid-page and instead of going to the next line, It wraps at the beginning of the same line and sometimes three lines above.
    Is there a pipe or something I can use?

    I would try a different SSH client, because I've never had that problem with my PuTTY client.

          It is Ok now.

          Sometimes when you maximize the page this happens.
          solution is to disconnect and reboot.

          Thanks a lot for the answer
