    Junk Mail Screensaver

I keep getting junk mails, about 2 or 5 a day. A screen saver is sometimes attached which of course I have not run. Other attachments have come also, I assume possible viruses. I have never got this kind of junk before. Any ideas?

Seems to always be from different people though. How can I find out?

There really isn't a way, the virus reads everything on the computer for email addresses, and then it mails every one from many fake addresses.

My advice, don't take it personally, let it be.

How about the "received" header? Virus can't fake that, they can only add extra, correct? Might give you a clue. Most virus don't even try to add any faked "received" headers because email servers kick the mail back as relay. Where's Chrisd when you need him?

It's not hard to spoof an email address. I doubt that the account that is sending the "junk" is doing it knowingly or intentionally. If it bothers you that much, set up a few mail filters.
