    OpenSSH Daemon and zombie processes

What SSH daemon is DATHORN using?

I have an account on another host with SSH and jailshell. Unlike Dathorn, they sometimes seem to experience zombie processes when I use WINSCP/PUTTY and then for some reason I get disconnected.

Although I sometimes also get an SSH disconnect on DATHORN, WINSCP never seems to leave zombie processes on DATHORN that must be killed before I can log in again.

Does DATHORN run any cron cleanup script(s) or do anything special to protect against zombie processes?

BTW, I am running the latest stable 3.8.2 version of WINSCP.

We do not run anything special. The zombie processes can occur if you get disconnected and still had something running. Though if myself or one of the techs sees these we go through and get them killed off properly. But it shouldn't prevent you from logging in again.
