can i use outlook for an email address on my account?

i was going to move my roommate's website onto my dathorn hosting.

her only concern is that currently she has an email under her current
hosting, her@currenthostingdomain.com, that she accesses ok via
Outlook.
she wants to know if she could do that if i moved her domain to my
dathorn account.

i assume this is trivial, but all i have ever done so far with email on my
accounts is have them forward to a regular web email acct such as
yahoo or bellsouth.net.

any help would be appreciated.

Yes, you can access e-mail accounts using any working mail client. Once the domain is transfered just use it as the incomming and outgoing mail servers.
