Is there a way to filter spam with spam assasin on a forwarder?
If not, is there a way to do it with Postini?

SA does work with forwarders and Postini does as well. Nothing special is required in either case.

That's what I thought. My client just called me back. All messages were being marked as SPAM but i didn't have the autodelete function enabled.

        Thanks!

Alternately, there are the Google Apps that supposedly can totally take over all incoming mail (through direction via the MX record). I haven't yet switched over but it's something I've looked into.
Google owns Postini, so if you want the more robust filtering on the account directly, Dathorn can set it up for you. That's especially helpful with customers who don't want to deal with the Gmail interface. As I understand it, the Gmail filtering is a lightweight version of the Postini filtering (although I don't know if the "lightweight" part of it is just that it only allows 5 accounts, or if there's some other functional difference).

Just improper DNS settings from checking the box when creating the account for the domain in WHM which was causing the domain to be resolved incorrectly by certain servers.

MXed mail through Google Apps works fine, I set up most of my website clients' email to use it and I use it for my own accounts. They have their own pop email domains and they aren't going to have mail problems and their spam is very low, it makes them happy with the webguy.
