Forwarding maildir files

I'm looking for a quick and dirty way (one-off shell script) to process a particular user's cur/ directory and have the contents forwarded to an external address.

Anyone have any pointers -- perhaps a for-loop feeding each file into the mailer (preserving the from: and the date headers)?

nm. I figured it out -- assuming of course that I don't get struck by lightning for executing exim directly.
