SSH access on reseller?

I tried to log into ssh shell through my reseller account name and it didn't work. Is it possible for me to enable it or not?

You can enable SSH access on each of your accounts via WHM. Go to modify the account and check the "Shell" check box.

If you're referring to your WHM user itself, this isn't enabled because it typically is not necessary. The WHM user is really only meant to be used to login to WHM. If you can demonstrate some sort of need for this please submit a ticket and we can get it enabled for you.

Good to know the option is available. I have tried this several times but never bothered to submit a ticket or post about it. I believe my reasons were:

a) Perform some kind of full manual backup of my entire reseller account
b) Move/Copy entire directory structures from one user account to another because that would be the most convenient way for me to manage/install my CMS sometimes.

Neither of those would even be an option. Via SSH your WHM user is nothing but another use account which only has access to its own files and nothing more.
