Fetching email from Dathorn server using SBC ISP

Is anyone here able to successfully send / receive email to / from a Dathorn email server using SBC as their ISP? If so, please provide details. Or if you have any suggestions for workarounds, please detail.

I have read some of the older posts and am looking for whatever is the freshest info.

    Thanks!

It really isn't any different than any other ISP. You can connect using an email client via POP3 or IMAP. Use the domain as the mail server along with your full email address and password to login.

For SMTP (outgoing) you will likely need to change the port to 587 as most ISP's block the default port 25.

      Thanks, Andrew!

      Port 587 worked.

For the record, did not need to enable SSL.

No problem at all. I'm glad you were able to get it to work. I would, however, recommend using SSL as a general rule.
