    Outlook ?

A customer of mine recently said he got this message in Outlook:

The message could not be sent because the server rejected the sender's e-mail address. The sender's e-mail address was 'usr'. Subject 'fds', Account: 'acc', Server: 'mail.domain.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '501 <usr>: sender address must contain a domain', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 501, Error Number: 0x800CCC78

Now, I asked him to go into cPanel > Manage Webmail Accounts >
and click 'OUTLOOK AUTO-CONFIGURE' on his account, but he said he already did.

I've never, in my life, used Outlook, or any other
sort of Email Client except web-based, so what should I suggest?
He's a brand new customer, and very excited, and refused to use Neomail, Horde, or Squirrel

Okay reading the FAQ that Andrew posted,
myself & him both did the Telnet thing and both
of us got a message of 'Not allowed to use this to send bulk' blah blah email.

So I'm checking out the ISP's site, actually BT Yahoo!
and I just got a 'members-only' link for how to configure
Outlook to send/receive email; I'm awaiting his reply if it worked.

I know that Cox communications does not allow me to use any SMTP servers to send mail, I have to use their smtp server.
