Output truncated to 2000 matches

I have a directory that contains 2500+ images. When I access it via FTP I get a "226 Output truncated to 2000 matches" message, and as you'll imagine I get only 2000 matches displayed.

Is this my FTP client problem? (Tried using WSFTP_LE and CuteFTP pro). Can tais be the server?

I have the same problem with my hosting company...
what's worse is, they don't know how to remove the limitations or remove the truncate option.

Can you please help me out so I can tell them how to do it.

They need to modify /etc/pure-ftpd.conf and change the LimitRecursion values.

Sounds like you need to move to a decent host that knows what they're doing like Dathorn
