    Mail Quota Allocation.

    Hi,

Is there any way we can allocate the total mail quota to our clients? Currently, my clients is using 10MB per user account. For your information, they never used up 10MB email space. However, if possible, I would like to limit the email space for each of the account. For example, if I allocate their email space 30MB. They can create unlimited email accounts within the email quota that I have allocated to them only. Is that possible in Cpanel?

Will or can I be notify if they exceed the email space I allocated to them?

    Thank you.

Note: Cpanel allocate 10MB per user account by default.

You could just setup a new account with a total limit on their disk space. This would then limit how much they were able to have for their email account.
So say you only want them to have 30megs of email space, setup an account with 30megs of disk space, that should prevent them from using more than you want them to.

    Hope that makes sense

      Hi,

FYI, it doesn't work on my old hosting provider. I just wonder if this is working on Dathorn. That's why I make such a weird question. Now, I know that Dathorn can make a different on this issue. Thank you for the info.

Remember, that account limit, while it can be used
as a way of making a limit on the total amount of space
the email account(s) use, it also limits the account itself.
