    Email quota exceeded

    Hi

The disk quota of an email address has exceeded quota. I have to retrieve the emails inside, but I cannot. The whole account seems to be locked. Attempts at using webmail and POP fail -- the login fails each time.

How can I retrieve the data? I can't even change the disk quota to allow more space.

    Ta!

Can you access it via Cpanel?

I believe mail quota under cpanel does not work correctly, meaning a client can still send and receive mails even if he exceeds his quota. so your problem may not be quoa related.

yes. try cpanel login, it has nothting to do with mail quota so you should be able to login and check webmail from there.

        ... and delete excess messages.

Check also the "Sent" folder; I've often found that people have copies of all their outgoing messages saved, and its the outgoing messages that put them over the top so quickly.
