    Problems with Cpanel 30?

Anyone notices problems with this server? In last few months it slows down quite frequently, and also server is unreachable in different time of day.

I even checked from different providers. Symtoms are always the same: everything else works fine, but Cpanel 30 either works slow or is unreachable. This happens with whm and cpanell admin interface too.

All the time server itself responds to pings, but services do not.

Also, starting several months ago, I receive constant complaints from my clients that they cannot download any mail that is a bit larger. POP3 connections always timeout.

This becomes an issue. People are complaining a lot. I even canot tell them what is wrong. It would be nice, that, if something happens on server (backup, or whatever), there is some updated information about it.

Have you bothered to submit a trouble ticket about this yet? If you don't inform them of the problem, then complaining here really won't do a bit of good.

I am not complaining. I am asking if someone else notices the same problem. I tried several providers to se if it matters but, still, all providers in my country are going through the same backbone. Opinion from someone on the other part of the world would be helpful.

I do not see point to post TT saying: "hey it does not work well...". It is better if I can provide more information about the problem.

        cPanel30

We have a number of clients hosted on cPanel30 and have had many problems lately. Almost daily we are unable to access the server early in the morning. Here is my trouble ticket:

The backup process generally runs from 1:30AM CST to 9:00AM CST. This is likely the cause of any slowness you may be experiencing. Unfortunately there is no fix for this until the server is upgraded to our new system, which I can't give you an ETA for at this time. We upgrading all servers based on the priority of need on each server.

We have a number of business clients that count on checking their email first thing in the morning. Is it possible to slide the backup jobs up a couple of hours or even move to a different server? I have been thrilled with Dathorn's performance in the past, but I am worried my clients are going to start getting restless with an ongoing issue that is not fixed. Thanks for your information and help.

Sorry, the backup time will remain as is and we do not move customers between servers.

Open up another account which will place you on a different server, transfer all your "business" accounts to the new account, close the account on Cpanel 30....... see if that solves your issue...
          Cheers,
