    It affected all *.php files on my site (including ones outside the forums folder).

      it was announced some days ago that phpbb was vulnerable and we need to ugrade it. we must have this scripts up to day, but it's difficult. It would be great to creat another announcements forum related to scripts exploits/bugs and another security news

        Personally my view is that unless Dathorn would create it for customers
        to keep updated themselves, they shouldn't bother. Its each's own responsibility to update your own scripts.

          And who´s responsibility to update php on the server?

            Dathorn's, but that is because Dathorn provides the hosting and
            will make it secure as possible from their own side, such as the
            server side stuff we have no effect on (PHP, Apache, MySQL, system settings, etc.).

            Its not up to Dathorn to ensure security for customers' scripts.
            They can only do their best job to ensure security for the server as a whole.
