    Images loading partialy

    Hi,

One of my customer is complaining that on his site some of images
are sometimes loading and sometimes not.
    Every time different images.

Do you know what would be the answer on this problem?

    Tnx

NO,I experience same problem as my customer.
Yes, I tried IE and FF,and FireF is doing much more trouble to load all the pictures.
And the page with images have around 70kb.
I cleared the cache but same thing is happening.

      Tnx

OK, if it does not work for multiple ppl and browsers, I would look at the code or the image files themselves. Or if you can, put it on another server to test.

Can you access this images directly? IE: domain.com/images.picture.jpg

        EDIT:

Whats the site if you can share?

I tried on my friends server everythig is working fine.
Now tried original site, also working fine, just before 10 hours was making problems.
It seams the problem is in server?

I've run into this problem before also. I think pinned it down to two possible things:

            1) I'm on a Mac, running IE 5.1, which screws up a lot of stuff in the internet!
            2) Sometimes Cpanel gets confused and won't send pictures for awhile. Eventually they will come.....

I also have the same problem occasinaly on several sites hosted on Dathorn. It is not a problem of web page code.

My wild gess is that it maybe something like limited number of connections to server so base document is loaded but some images are not.

I don't think its the number of connections to the servers. All sorts of software on our machines now try to protect us from images.

Sometimes its IE ... Tools*Options*Security, and adding the site in the "Trusted Zones" can sometimes fix it.

I have also had a problem with Norton Internet Security. It will, for some reason, think that a picture is a "tracking" picture that tracks the last site you visited and refuse to load it. Go into "Privacy Control" and turn off "Enable Browser Privacy." Or, go into the options, and to Web Content, add the site, and click 'permit information about visited sites' for your site.

One of my users also had it with ZoneAlarm's Pro product ... the ad blocker was thinking that some pictures were ads.

Since you are getting it in different browsers, try looking at any "security" suites you have, anti-virus, anti-adware, etc. and see if disabling them (or configuring them) solves the problem.

BTW - the site looks great to me!

I consider myself expert internet user and I am sure this happens on server side because I experience problem on different computers, different platforms, different software and different internet providers. Also, I know how to set up and controll all software I use and how it influences internet connections. At last I know to check and eliminate possible problem causes. This what happens is not due to an computers I experienced it on.

I did not claim it is about limited number of connections but that it is my wild guess since symptoms are the same. Every single image which is missing on the page can be loaded if targeted directly by browser, and once loaded (and put in cache), it shows on the page too.

Problem occures occasionaly, an each time differnt images are mising. This simply cannot be due to local computer.

Well, my experience is with hundreds of users on Cpanel08 and ... without exception ... the ones that have problems have all been due to local software on their machine. So I'm speaking from my experience only, on that one server, since it was put into service.
