I lost one of the customer's web site after I upgraded WordPress script from 1.2 to 1.5.1.2 which was available on the cPanel. The problem was WordPress was not able to connect to the MySQL database altough username, password and database name were correct.
After posting this issue to WordPress' forum, I was recommended to upgrade manually to 1.5.1.3 and it worked. Now website is back.
