    Seeking assistance getting started

    Greetings everyone,
I am new not only to Dathorn, but to setting up an environment for web hosting etc. I am very committed to learning and becoming self-reliant, and I realize that a tradeoff for having Dathorn's fantastic offerings is limited support for someone such as myself.

I am therefore looking for someone willing to work with me, at least partially by voice, so that I can understand the infrastructure clearly and get going. I will gratefully and joyfully pay you for your time.

What I seek: someone who understands the terminology and general operation of the Dathorn environment, hosting, email, ftp etc. setup, and who is willing to explain clearly and answer questions for a bit. Must be willing to work by voice (phone or VoIP).

Feel free to reply here or to email me directly at VibrantLife@earthlink.net

    Thanks so much!
    Elchanan

I think you will find the forums here will hold a lot of your answers.
Get yourself a Cpanel manual and WHM manual that will become your guide.
Also a awesome site is http://www.webhostingtalk.com/
Tons more good info there and many more people to help you.
Welcome and you will enjoy Dathorn.
    Cheers,

    Gary

Thanks Grunfeld, I will bring some questions into the forum. But the amount of knowledge, and the type/level of knowledge, I seek are not likely to come through any forum, and I've already looked in the manuals. They are almost entirely mechanical, as are most technical manuals nowadays, they provide little background as to what things are or why/when one might use them.

Will seek out that other link, too. Again, thanks!
