    do we have tomcat/j2se installed?

A prospective client has asked if tomcat is installed on our servers. From talking with him he wants to write his own script in java and requires tomcat to be installed.

I explained to him that as long as his script does not hog server resources it shouldnt be a problem to encode it using PHP, but I'd have to find out about tomcat.

He also requires J2SE to be installed. I don't know much about Tomcat/Java, but it seems to me that this would probably not be installed on the servers as I couldn't find any reference to it, but maybe there is an alternative.

Either way, can someone please verify the situation with tomcat, J2se and using/running java scripts?

    thanks.

Can it be installed? what about j2se? I dont even know why you'd need that too, but i need a concise answer for my client. I have already told him that it is unlikely we will be able to accomodate tomcat as the account is in a shared environment, but i need a definitive answer.

I'm trying to get him to use PHP instead

      thanks.

It is not something that we have plans to install either.
