Quick Q (me-hopes - prelude to Q is long though, I am long-winded by nature, my apologies):
A client had an issue with a rogue script and I directed them to upgade their PNuke and BBS scripts. They told me to go ahead and do it for the standard .28 fee.
So I went in to CPanel and clicky-clickied on Backup and created a Full Backup with the one click (pretty easy) and a backup of the SQL db too. I noticed the Full Backup was a tar file, so I was pretty excited.
Proceeded with me upgrade. Didn't do all that well and I now I would like to start over in a sub-directory to play around with the upgrade before implementing it. I get this msg when I try to extract the backup:
uh-oh ... do I *have* to use CPanel to restore it in its originial spot? If so, no worries, just a couple extra steps, but if I can be lazy ...
