Photos and .mp3 - ok for our shared server?

This was also submitted as a trouble ticket for suggestions, but would be interested in feedback from the forum:
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Actually, this is an avoid a trouble ticket. Most of my clients are low bandwidth php script driven content sites with small images. However, we let one of my clients sons have a directory to use and he seems to be using it for photos and mp3. My question is whether it is appropriate to keep him on dathorn or I should move him off of our server to somebody else because not appropriate for our servers? I don't wish to impact server performance. Looks like maybe 75 mb of files now in this directory and maybe top day hit 90mb bandwidth but most days half or less.

What do you think? Do we want this type of activity on the server with our clients? Or can we handle it just fine?

Thank you for your suggestions - just trying to be a good server community member.

Legal photos and MP3s? Not copyrighted by someone? Not porn?

Beyond those questions, I didn't see anything in the TOS or AUP against it but maybe there is and I just missed it. The bandwidth might be high for my average customer but it doesn't seem excessive. What is it 2-3GBs?

Whether it's appropriate use of the server or not is usually why I end up asking Andrew - when in doubt I ask.

Thanks. Andrew did not have a problem from a server load perspective, but did point out the potential legality issue. I think I'd just as soon get out of it since I do not add value to this process. Any suggestions for non-reseller hosts for me to recommend? They don't need php or mysql. I run into this once in a while where a client is not appropriate for me and they ask where to host.

if he wants to host lots of stuff and doesn't need the reliability of dathorn he could try site5.com.

But anyway, I wouldn't worry on my main website I have 42000 images. The site uses over 20gb of bandwidth a month but I'm sure your client wouldn't.
